## Using MaskPX

MaskPX is an on-device image editing tool. These terms describe use of the app supplied by the publisher identified above. Use it only where you have the right to edit and share the selected images. Do not use the app to violate another person's privacy, intellectual property or other legal rights, to create unlawful content, or to misrepresent an image's origin or authenticity.

## Your images and saved styles

You retain the rights you hold in your images, text, logos and edits. Importing an image or saving a watermark preset does not transfer ownership to the publisher. You are responsible for permission to use third-party content, including logos and faces. The app's software and branding remain subject to their owners' rights; open source components have their own licenses, accessible from Settings or About.

## Review the exported image

MaskPX provides visual editing tools, not a guarantee that an image is anonymous or that every sensitive detail is removed. A blur, mosaic or watermark may leave information recognizable, and a missed area remains visible. Review the actual exported image at a suitable zoom before sharing, especially for faces, document numbers, codes and other identifiers. Use sufficient opaque coverage when needed. Saved editable works and original copies may still contain the unmodified sensitive content.

Export creates a new image rather than changing the original. You remain responsible for the final image you choose to save or send. The app cannot retract a copy from another person, another app, your photo library or a backup service.

## Local storage and availability

Features and saved-work support differ by platform. Keep your own appropriate copies of important material. Local work, presets and export files may become unavailable after removal, a storage failure, device loss or changes to the app or operating system. The app is not an archival or backup service. Cleanup controls have specific scopes described in the Privacy Policy; they do not erase all copies everywhere.

## Third-party services and privacy

Operating-system photo pickers, galleries, sharing destinations, backup providers and app stores operate under their own terms. The MaskPX Privacy Policy explains local processing, permissions, retention and user-initiated sharing: https://maskpx.pages.dev/privacy. Both policies are bundled in the app for offline reading.

## Responsibility and your rights

The publisher aims to provide a useful editing tool but does not promise that all files, devices or workflows will be supported or that operation will always be uninterrupted or error-free. These terms do not exclude or limit rights, remedies, warranties or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights. Store purchase and refund rules apply where relevant. No payment or subscription mechanism is currently implemented in the app.

## Changes and contact
